PETE CERESA
This is why he decided to become a teacher. He earned his teaching credential from CSU-East Bay while working full-time and planning his wedding. Besides enjoying math and logic puzzles, he now has the opportunity to help people as they begin to make one of the biggest decisions of their lives! As an avid runner, he also was able to coach cross country and track for a couple of seasons and looks forward to doing that again in the future. He believes that choosing the right college and the right major is only the beginning step to a long life of learning. Especially in today's world, if you are not constantly trying to improve your skills and knowledge, then you will fall behind in your career. He does not believe that career is everything but it will be where you will typically spend most of your time. It must be a reflection of you and your life philosophy in order for you to find happiness. High school will help you begin your path, learn what you love and learn how to work hard. With hard work, many other deficiencies fade away. As Thomas Edison said, "The three great essentials to achieve anything worth-while are: Hard work, Stick-to-itiveness, and Common sense." These are three things that he cannot teach you, but you must learn from experience. You only develop experience by trying new things and challenging yourself to do more. Be more. |
