Prerequisites:  Completion of Algebra II or Algebra II/Trig with a C or better and/or teacher recommendation. 

Course Description: 
This course is designed to develop students' critical thinking in the analysis of functions and function modeling.  Students will review and expand advanced algebra topics and apply problem solving techniques using graphical, numerical, and analytical methods.  Students will be able to accurately model various scenarios using an appropriate model and will develop their skills in choosing and justifying a model, as well as verifying results, using mathematical properties and real-world context.  Students will leave the course with the skills and abilities to connect mathematics to the world around them and be successful in higher level mathematics courses.
